Josh Krajcik

Joshua Krajcik (born in 1981) is an American singer-songwriter from Wooster, Ohio who, on December 22, 2011, finished second on season 1 of The X-Factor.

X-Factor[]

He was a part of the over 30s catagory, mentored by Nicole Scherzinger. He first shocked and surprised the judges and the public at his audition in Chicago by singing a soulful, bluesy version of the Etta James classic "At Last". He received much priase from the judges and has progressed through the competition with his soulful, bluesy vocals and humble personality, making him a fan favorite.

Criticism of his mentor[]

Despite pouring his heart and soul into every performance, Krajcik's mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, has been criticized for saddling Josh with questionable songs that don't seem to showcase his vocal ability. However, despite criticism towards her, the public rewarded Krajcik for his efforts by putting him through each week, making it to the finale, where he faced off against fellow fan favorites Chris Rene and Melanie Amaro.
